The Idea of §nglish - Part I
Language is a noun and according to online definition, it is method of human communication, either spoken or written, consisting of the use of words in a structured and conventional way.
Language is what allows us, fellow human to share thoughts, ideas and more.
We use combination of symbols (alphabets) to create word, combination of words to create sentence, combination of sentences to create paragraph and paragraphs to narrate story.
English, an international language that combines words confusingly.
I am not a grammar expert and English is my third or fourth language.
How about let us detail what requirements are needed for a working language.
Let us break things into two categories, physical and non-physical, so to describe a thing, we give it name.
chair, (one unit of chair)
chairs, (to specify more than one, exact quantity unknown)
we treat non-physical noun as singular,
advice, money
I don't really like the idea noun changing bases on quantity, I find it doesn't makes much sense.
If I said, I got two chairs ( "two" is very obvious quantity but why we still need to change the noun to reflect its plural form? )
Anything that get describe is subject.
beautiful scenery, fast runner, white umbrella, etc.
